The perfect place for music/

Studio A

Record your killer drums in our superb live room or do tight vocals in the booth with classics like the Neumann U-47.

The destination studio has a wide variety of high end microphones and outboard equipment, a pristine Yamaha C5 grand piano and at the heart of it - a Rupert Neve 5088 Shelford console.

Studio A is designed with flexibility, ease of use and (of course) good sound in mind. Work with our Pro Tools HDX system or easily connect your laptop via thunderbolt to the Apogee Symphony MkII interfaces and access all the analog goodness from your favourite DAW.

Come and use the amazing sounding rooms and gear. Make music in an always inspiring location.

Studio A/ Rooms

The purpose built studio is fitted with spacious live rooms overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It’s constructed by US studio designer Ric Vaughan. The sound isolation makes it possible to record a quiet piano passage even during the roughest of weather.

Take full advantage of the big live room to create your unique sound. Separate iso booths give you the opportunity to track whole sessions live, with great sound separation. There’s even tie lines up to the loft.

No matter how nice the view may be, sometimes the music calls for a darker vibe, so the main live room has electric roller blinds so to completely detach from the outside world.

There’s also a living area with kitchen, bath room, lounge and bed rooms.

Main live room/
60m2 - 5,5m high ceiling

No parallel surfaces, solid Norwegian pine wood floor, a high ceiling and strategically placed absorption are a few of the ingredients to it’s natural and controlled sound. It’s very uniform throughout. There are excellent sight lines to the control room, iso booths and the stunning scenery outside. We use custom built gobos to tailor the acoustics to each project.

Loft/
Bed room

Initially just a bed room, this has turned into the perfect place to stack up some bass and guitar amps when the session has a lot of moving parts. It features a big window looking down into the main live room.

Control room/
35m2

The carefully designed control room has a natural open sound. It’s uniform around the room and has a tight low end. There is plenty of space for musicians to be fully involved in the recording and production process. It has powerful, but quiet air condition system giving a comfortable environment.

Another unique feature is a doorway leading directly over a step, to the beach outside. Always handy should a difficult moment arise. You can imagine your own scenario there!

Iso booths A & B/
8m2 & 6m2

Both booths are treated to be fairly dead, but the acoustics can be further controlled with strategically placed absorbing curtains. The booths are equipped with double sets of triple glazed wood frame doors, providing virtually complete attenuation of sound into the main live room.
