The perfect place for music/

Studio A

Studio A is a purpose built studio designed by US studio designer Ric Vaughan in 2009. Since then the studio has become known for its natural and controlled sound, which comes from solid Norwegian pine wood floors, high ceiling, non-parallel walls and carefully placed acoustic panels. Here you can record killer sounding drums, delicate string ensembles or tight vocals.

The spacious live room has panorama windows overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Triple glazed windows, along with floating walls/floors and grass roof, makes it possible to record a quiet piano passage during the roughest weather. The two iso booths are treated to be fairly dead, but the acoustics can be further controlled with extra absorbing curtains. They are also equipped with double sets of triple glazed wood frame doors, providing virtually complete sound isolation to and from the main live room.

The carefully designed control room has a natural open sound. It’s uniform around the room and has a tight low end. There is plenty of space for musicians to be fully involved in the recording and production process. It has powerful, but quiet air condition system giving a comfortable environment. Another unique feature is a doorway leading directly to the beach outside. Always handy should a difficult moment arise.

In addition, we do tape baking and transfers of old tape.

In terms of gear, the studio has a wide variety of high end microphones and outboard equipment available, a pristine Yamaha C5 grand piano, and at the heart of it - a Rupert Neve 5088 Shelford console.
